How can we improve MailTime for iOS?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Option To See Emails Of Specific Account By Default

    Currently the app loads all mails from all accounts. It would be nice have an option to set an account for which mails are displayed on app load.

  2. Scheduling

    In addition to unread, allow scheduling so an email appears at a later time (in a few hours; this evening; tomorrow morning; at a set time).

  4. Calendar compatibility

    When I receive an email for an event, the "view" option opens the Safari app and takes me to my email and calendar provider, Google. It would be more helpful if the option opened the Calendar app instead.

  6. Make Desktop App for OS X and Windows.

    Many are using their PC all day. It would be great to have an app like this on the Mac or PC. This is the real workhorse area that needs to be improved. Outlook and Apple Mail are the best choices we have and they are very outdated.

  7. Ability to "Star" an email

    Gmail has this ability to "star" an email as important. Please allow this feature that also will show up in the desktop Gmail as "starred" email.

  8. Option for disabling quotes

    There should be an option to choose whether the email would be sent with a quote of previous conversations.

  10. CUSTOMIZE HOME SCREEN

    I'd like to make a more minimal home screen. Just names and subjects. I'd like to remove the grey bar along the right. Simple and clean!

    For example, when I want to share a link in safari via mail, I can press the share button and choose this app to share the link.

  12. Allow to show inbox only (gmail)

    There appears to be no option to only show the inbox for gmail account. All mail shows or important email. This conflicts with the zero inbox methodology.

    When you see a bunch of emails it creates stress or makes you think you have not dealt with them already. So you constantly look at your mail to see if you missed anything.

  13. Crop photos

    I hope that I can crop photos in app so it will be more convenient for users to send attachments in mail.

  14. File attachment as original file

    I've been looking for an app that allows file attachment from iCloud, Dropbox, PDF, etc that can be sent as the original file rather than a link when replying emails.

    Many apps are ok to attach files as new message but not when replying.

    It's impossible to read for a far sighted person like me, who would go to settings in order to increase the font size.

  20. Adjust font size from within app

    I have iOS 8 font set to the smallest bit would like to be able to further reduce font size in Mailtime.
